A Meal To Die For

Please comment on what comes to mind after watching this clip.

1. It's hard to determine what is drawing these customers to HEART ATACK GRILL (or giving them heart attack), these waitresses or meals?

2. Aren't there enough fast food restaurants out there, why is the introduction of this franchise necessary when it does more harm then good to people?

  2. The meals being served at the restaurant not only attracts the consumers to the establishment but also exposes them to diseases or illnesses such as heart-attack, obesity etc. Furthermore, the waitresses seem to draw the attention of men to the restaurant despite the unhygienic food being served. That is, costumers (men) are being attracted to the restaurant by the approach of the waitresses such as their clothing; reveals but of their bodies and how they walk.

  3. First reaction: O_O Is this a joke?

First of all, OMG WTH THERES A FOOD ITEM THAT CONTAINS 8000 CALORIES???!!! How do you eat that? You only need roughly 2000 calories a day!
It's ridiculous. That's like helping someone commit suicide-- which is a crime.
The women were dressed so revealing, I originally thought the place was a bar! It's definitely not a place for kids as those women are not good role models to follow and the food there is less than crap O_O. This grill should be shut down, it has no place in our increasingly overweight generation.
I don't care if it's a choice for those people to go and eat there! Not even prisoners should be subjected to this form of cuisine.

  4. What I believe that attracts the customers is the women. As a male, when a attractive female is advertising something, it would want me to buy or eat the product. As well, the food does look good and it possibly wants the customer to go their more often. Though the food is unhealthy, it probably tastes good. For example: a Big Mac at McDonalds is around 540 calories but a caesar salad is e meal around 240 calories. The meal that people most often buy is the Big Mac. So the food with the higher calories is the "tastier" one. So I think that both the women and the meals attract the customers.

The reason why we have more fast food restaurants out their is because people like to try different things. Most people usually get tired of eating the same thing and wish to try something new, so these new unhealthy restaurants are open.

  5. Well, i think the owner of this "heart attack grill" already had a notion of who his clients were going to be. He is obviously targeting a certain type of person, those that don't like change. I believe those customers are pretty conservative about the way they lead their lifestyles and it seems like they are not willing to accept changes even if those changes might be beneficial for their health. Those customers, like the owner says, are tired of all of those warnings out there about junk food. They just see this grill as their "getaway" place, a place with no restrictions and where the customers would be free to do whatever they want. I personally think it's fine to go there once in a while (something like once a month or every 2 months, providing that the person choosing to go there regularly eats a balanced diet and exercises regularly) since i believe making too many restrictions on your diet makes food unenjoyable. However, one should make sure that it doesn't become a habit and one should be really careful about that. As for the presence of those waitresses, it seems logical to say they're there to attract men, it seems like the owner is targeting men as their main clients although some children and women were also seen in the video. Obviously, the women are not good role models and one should be really careful about bringing a kid in such a place because he/she might get the wrong impression of women in general. (and food too!).

  6. 1.)It is hard to determine what the customers are getting drawn by, but in my opinion I say that the waitresses and the meals that HEART ATACK GRILL has in store is what there drawn by. The waitresses aren’t dressed appropriately so they can seduce the customers, especially the men who come here more often. Also the meals that Heart Attack Grill has are made with chemicals so they can enjoy it more.

2.)There is a lot of fast food restaurants out their, but investors wants to make more money and expand there industry. There are little people out their who actually care about the customers health, but in general that’s there least concern. They rather make money then to reduce the health issues that are going on in fast food restaurant.

  7. 1) I believe it's the meal that causes heart attack to people, but still it's on our hands what to eat and what not to. It's 8000 calories so people should be careful about their health. It's not the waitresses, but people should control themselves.

    2) I believe this, because this franchise causes trouble, people should know about it, so that they make themselves aware of it and think before they actually go there.

  8. I cannot even see those people eating the burger. That’s like a ticket to obesity, diabetes, arteriosclerosis, renal failure, stroke and heart attack, just like the name of the restaurant suggests.
But that’s not the bad part yet, there are a good number of things insanely wrong, and still accepted as being alright in the contest. I’d start with the cockiness of the costumers; their naivety in ignoring their health will bring them in to a down fall of diseases and even unhealthier eating. And the fact which I’m most concerned is the fact that they don’t mind they think it is all right just eating and ling there like bears after meal, they are risking their own health just to eat that food. I mean there is a world out there of healthy food that you can eat without getting a heart attack. Second one of the things that bothered me most is the “nurses” or waitress they are dressed in such clothes that appeals to improper sexual content in public contest. I mean this protracts women as a sexual tool there to watch and to serve you. And here you can see in the video that parents go there with their family and eat there like it was normal, I’d really love to see a father to explain her daughter how to dress in public, while they are eating in such restaurant. What is even worst is the fact that diseases due to unhealthy nutrition are protracted as being irrelevant, they even make a joke out them by putting name tags with the diseases which they are diagnosed with an employer with no apparent medical diploma what so ever. I mean seriously how far have we gone? Restaurant with stroke meals and waitress with revealing clothing!
Restriction should be put to such restaurant or at the clientele should be restricted to only adults and costumers pro for euthanasia.

  9. Hey guys! Just wanted to add that it is both the meeals and the staff that are attracting more people and thus formulating heart attack!! If you guys watch previous clips of this same ad, you would see that most of the customers are males...anything clicking there? Ofcourse parents would not want to bring their children to something as close as a bar! Nor their husbands around women dressed that revealing. Which is why this place is overloaded with males, not to mention they have a bar included as well. As for the food i have no further comments. It is as DISGUSTING as it seems, need i say more perhaps? Why would any franchise try to produce something in a deliberate attempt to harm its customers? 8000 calorie burger and the additional usage of lart explains more than enough on my part. :))

  10. 1. This restaurant is selling to a small niche market. The fact that this is the only place that you can get burgers like this is what is drawing people in, not the waitresses. Considering that the action of eating large amounts of food is considered "manly" and that women are taught to want to be as skinny as possible, the restaurant will cater to men mostly. The waitresses are only there because of this.

    2. This restaurant is unique in the fact that it states outright that taste is not comprimised by health concerns. The restaurant is not lying to it's customers and it's their choice if they want to eat there.

  11. Wow, originally I had assumed this was a joke but man was I wrong. At least I can say they are honest. In regards to what is attracting these customers, well the waitresses help but thats not necessarily the point of the restaurant. It is true that in todays age restaurants are trying to become more and more healthy, and food chains such as subways actually are more successful than most other food chains. Though there will always be people who value flavor or simple momentarily promoted happiness, over the well being of their own lives. Now what this business does is simply manipulate that desire and in turn, is able to sell literally garbage to people who are willing to poison themselves. It is also that idea that only ,I control my own body, which attracts many customers. In todays age people are generally told whats good and whats bad, and unfortunately the good tasting stuff is not the healthy stuff. After constant nagging these people may want something that they will know is really bad as a sort of ultimate protest against those telling them whats good and not good for them. Unfortunately something that disgusted me was watching the child eat some of this food. Now there is no reason any parent with common sense would allow their children to eat this type of garbage. This unfortunately even occurs on a day to day bases, with parents who constantly feed their children fast food such as mcdonalds. Unfortunately such bad habits will stay with these children, and they will end up encountering many health problems they could have avoided.

2)This is a good example showing that people do not care about other people when money is involved. The self-proclaimed doctor is literally claiming that his food will send these people to the hospital, yet he still even with this knowledge continues to sell it. This simply shows that he has no interest in the well being of any of his costumers, only the well being of his wallet.

  12. 1. In my opinion , it's probably the meal that is causing people heart attacks. The waitresses are attracting the customers to come and have food from the joint.

    2. I'd like to agree with Abdinasir here when he says that there are few people who actually care about the health of an individual . They just seek money , which is quite true. This is the main reason to this question.

  13. This place knows how bad their food is for your health and warn you constantly. It is called HEART ATTACK GRILL! You should know what your getting into when you step in and see waitresses in nurse outfits. Fries cooked with lard, 8000 callerie burgers, that is very unhealthy and if you eat it your saying that your not concerned about your health and want to taste some nice food. The food sounds delicious but I would not want to know how it's made. Also, theres one thing that the Heart Attack Grill is doing that I respect and that none of the biggest franchises are. They tell youn straight up, If you eat this unhealthy stuff you might get a heart attack and its also extremely unhealthy. What is in there food and the calories or whatever on papers nobody reads.

  14. This restaurant is a ticket to death. The place should be banned because as Jon has mentioned, although the owner is being honest, such fat-containing food and the "nurses" are just destroying the consumers. What would draw people to this place are the nurses who apparently help the doctor check the "patients'" health. It is quite outrageous as to how people are still willing to go to the restaurant and prepare themselves to be on a death-bed. The restaurant also attracts obese people, which is a major drawback in the United States of America. I would say some food-related health agency has to take action against the restaurant because it is purely unacceptable.

Well, of course there are many fast-food franchises in place already, but I guess the owner of the restaurant wanted this place to be different from the others. He has succeeded in doing that, but I feel he is trying to take revenge on people who did not recognize him as a doctor as he says so. Moreover, he is trying to make money; I guess he wants to be rich and a "bad guy".
